Beyonce's maternal grandmother was a black woman of Creole descent. Her grandfather was full black, as far as I know.

You seem to be under the impression that a persons race is subjective

I'm reporting you because your blatant IGNORANCE is causing a racial debate, which is taking the focus off of an incredible acheivement by two black women: Mariah Carey & Beyoncé. I'd ask that others report you for the same reason.

And while Tina is mixed, Beyonces father is fully black meaning she is 75% black.... so the bitch is Black!
Mariah is mixed with a lot of things, but she identifies as a black woman for reasons of her own.

Ya'll better stop hating on Mario.
Him and Mary don't get that good of an AI anymore, not even Urban is playing them as much.

I'm so proud of Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, and Mariah Carey for their achievements. Being black women makes their success even more impressive.

Mariah, Rihanna, Beyonce & Tina are all mixed, but are primarly black. It's clear none of them are white.

Okay, let me explain it one time:
Tina Knowles ISN'T white.
She is of Louisiana Creole heritage.
Quote:
Louisiana Creole has different meanings when used in Louisiana. One refers to people of various racial backgrounds who are descended from the colonial French, Spanish, and German settlers in Louisiana. The second, referring to the citizens with an admixture of early Louisiana European ancestry, African (mostly West African or Haitian) ancestry, and Native American ancestry indigenous to Louisiana; most often called Créole.
|
And Beyoncés grandmother is half black, and her grandfather is full black as far as I've read.
Conclusion: Beyoncé is black, no matter what and you are a fool if you say she isn't.
And wasn't this thread about the Top Radio Songs Ever?

Indeed. Considering the history of the music industry concerning black people, it makes the acheivement EVEN greater.

That fact just highlights how racist radio is.

And that library fool thinks that celebrating that they're black is racist.

Especially since if this was the ****ing 50's and 60's their asses would not have been allowed in a white facility because the whites would have identified them as black even if they were mixed.

Mariah is primarily white, actually. I agree with the rest of what you said though.

Ok how the hell did this turn into a race debate. It does not matter what colour anyone is, it matters what kind of people they are and how talented they are.
Everything else is irrelevant.
I did not read that list and think oh all of them are black, I read it thinking wow they are all really talented. And that is the way everyone should think of it. Stop with the race debate, people who are defending themselves you are just adding fuel to the fire. Report it and leave it.

Rude Boy, here in the United States there is a "rule" that (some) people go by called the one drop rule.
It means if you have any black in you then YOU ARE BLACK. (It's racist, I know, but whatever.)
You might disagree but that's the way most people think.
Therefor Mariah Carey is black, Alicia Keys is black, Rihanna is black, Tina Knowles is black, Leona Lewis is black, our President is black, Jesus was black, ect.
