You might not think so, but ego really does affect an artist. In the late 90s, when Britney was the biggest act in the music industry, Xtina might have said something against Britney and it could have angered the Britney fan base. Being at the top of the charts, there were probably a gazillion who boycott her. Now it's Gaga that's the main cash cow and the same thing happened. Probably a lot of fans boycotted the album. In both cases, I think she retracted because it's just stupid to go after an beloved artist.
I actually think "You Lost Me" has potential. The rest of the album is filler material. Some songs are good, but not radio worthy.
