His latest disc, "To the Sea," buoyed by the first single "You and Your Heart," remained at No. 1 on sales of 15,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan numbers.
His latest effort has now racked up over 45,000 copies since its release last week.
Just behind Johnson was "Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals," which came in at No. 2 with 14,000 in sales, Christina Aguilera's "Bionic" (9,000) at No. 3, and the soundtrack to "Twilight Saga: Eclipse," which premiered at No. 4.
"Glee: The Music, Volume 3 Showstoppers" slipped from No. 2 to No. 5, Justin Bieber's "My World 2.0" moved down two notches to No. 6, while Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" moved up one spot to No. 7.
Wrapping up the top 10 was Gord Downie & the Country of Miracles' "The Grand Bounce" at No. 8, Lady Gaga's "The Fame" at No. 9 and Bobby Bazini's "Better in Time" at No. 10.
I've said this a million times, but I just love her! I think I don't care about sales anymore... because when she does performances like this one, I just forget everything... she's so amazing, she's SO talented, she's a LEGEND to me... Please never stop Christina. I freaking love you.

She needs to have Melina direct the "WooHoo" video and have it heavily feature Nicki Minaj.
Then she needs to reteam with Floria Sigismundi (Hurt, Fighter) to make a chilling video for "You Lost Me".
The videos should be released like a week apart to highlight the versatility of the album.

This is pretty much the consensus. She needs to release 2 singles simultaneously. WooHoo or Bionic would work and then You Lost Me (even though I think "I Am" would fair better but that's unlikely to be released).
This doesn't mean it's all over for the album. "Dirrty," the first song released from Aguilera's second album, Stripped, stalled at #48. And then "Beautiful," the second song from the album, rose to #2 and brought Aguilera a Grammy. Aguilera may have better luck with the title song, "Bionic," which enters the Hot 100 at #66 this week.
