Well, a lot of viewers are choosing to switch to other programs INSTEAD of the FIFA World Cup as a result of these instruments. And as this event relies HEAVILY on sponsorship monies from non-South African businesses to invest in the event, the head of FIFA would be stupid NOT to find a solution to this problem. #justsaying

You do have a point, but I've heard there is a British TV channel airing the games without the vuvuzelas sound , I don't know more about that though.

It's a world-wide game. The final alone is watched by around 800 million people. Of course the viewers get a say in the running of the event.

my take on the games that happen that I haven't talk about yet
the Serbia v.s Ghana wasn't that bad & Germany destory Australia and could win the whole thing. Netherlands v.s Denmark was decent. Surprise Japan made a goal & Cameroon needs to bring it up. Italy v.s Paraguay was good but the teams didn't seem to play their hardest.
New Zealand v.s Slovakia was decent. Portugal couldn't pull a win against Ivoiry and Ivoriy mess up a goal. Brazil may of won but they weren't as good or strong as before and made their goals at the second part. The first part of the game wasn't excited but the first goal by Brazil was amazing. Korea made a goal was surprising. Reason they made a goal because Brazil wasn't in their full mode of destorying.
Honduras v.s Chile seems decent. Spain mess up today on goals.
As for the South Africa v.s Uruguay game. South Africa was disappointing. They are good as gone now. Lost the game esp. when the goalie got a red card and just give up on them. Urugway was very good today.

Ugh, they're AWFUL. I spend all the game cursing those things and I can only imagine how bad it is for the players, coaches, etc, being actually there.
