FACT is, people will buy an album if people wants to buy an album, look at the number 1 list someone posted, not all are big names/got a hit single and promo and they did not release in December, just like some albums that were released in December with a hit single and a performance didn't do well, that's not an excuse. (1)
FACT, I wasn't the one brought up Britney, Christina stans were the ones, so if you are tryin' to take someone's wig, you should at least be able to cover your back, which obiviously Christina can't right now. (2)
FACT, NMT was Top 20 which is kinda good but if want to use it as an excuse for the sales than it only makes Christina look worse cuz' she can't even get a proper hit just peakin' and falling. (3)
FACT, this is bad for Christina no matter how you look at it, well except for the position, yay for her . (4)

Okay
1) People will buy the album if they KNOW it's coming. Which push did it recieve in the UK? NONE. No airplay, no promotion, nothing. The people who bought it
in the UK are mainly her fans who are still checking for Christina updates, blah blah blah and happened to know that her album was coming out, but that's not enough, you have to push it so other people will get interested, and that's what singles, airplay and promotion is for, ans Christina got zero.
2) Neither did I say that you brought her up in the middle of the thread and that's not important either. AND there's still no comparing a December release to a June release and put them both in the same level cause they aren't. Truth is that If Circus was released 6 months earlier AND with zero push from the label ans without a song on the radio that people liked, there's no way in hell it would've sold 76k.
3) Fact is that NMT still managed to get that top 20 based on her name only because she got nothing but a few spins on british radio.
4) ATRL members are so bipolar, because a #1 does matter when it's your favorite artist no matter how others put it, but if it's a #1 for one you hate than it's not important. A #1 is still a #1.
