I think the fact some critics might get turned off with emma's inability to dance and sing in LLL will hurt her chance to win. Also, Natalie might have a hard time to win critics as some of them view her portrayal as Jackie to be inaccurate. Here's hoping for Isabelle to pull through
. Amy's chance might be in limbo as sci-fi movie usually doesn't do well at Oscar.

I have seen La La Legend yesterday and i am still shook! I am sure Moonlight is going to be a favorite of mine too but I am sorry to say this, the fact that Moonlosers actually believed Moonlight had even a small chance of winning Best Picture and Director is a KII! No way as hell this modern masterpiece and soon-to-be culturan phenomenon is not going to win so many awards! And yesss, Emma Stone will get that Oscar too, she DESERVES it!

Poor the doubters. Yes Emma has 70% chance of getting that Oscar and the chance will grow or shrink once SAG award winner is announced. It's locked between her or Isabelle although odds may favor her more. Her character doesn't require a lot of emotional high like Jackie but the fact she was a triple threat in that movie.

They are basing the prediction based on SAG, BAFTA and National Board Review. And most people don't take GG seriously after the whole debacle last year when Gaga won over Kirsten Dunst

But I take personal offense at the so-called movie musical, namely because it took the dreamy, romantic quality of a musical, slapped it atop two box office stars, and called it a day. La La Land enjoys the fruits of musical theater without sacrificing at its altar.

BTW that LLL guf reminded me of that scene where emmy and Ryan fly it was really a wtf moment lol. As of now stone is the front runner..can't wait for the sags to happen.

I'm so happy for Isabelle I read a lot since the GG and read a few articles people were fascinated by her om QnAs after the globes and stuff. That win did wonders for her.

She really deserves it, but it's still unclear whether Academy will vote for her. Julianne won over Marion last time is the proof that non-American actress is likely to get the award

I think it was intentional lol. It resonates well with the theme of the movie which is about dream or "la la land" (out of touch with reality)
La La Land will win BP, but Barry Jenkins will snatch Best Director. God, the directing in Moonlight is just ****ing incredible.
There was a BP/BD split in three out of the last four ceremonies. I think they'll go 2/2 this time. It's either Moonlight/Jenkins or LLL/Chazelle. Being the crazy season it is maybe even MbtS/Lonergan if they get best ensemble at the SAGs.
