As though still being able to sell out a stadium after your seventh album is something to be ashamed of. Take note that by then touring wasn't as big as it is today, hence everyone (even Beyoncé) in the 06/07/08 was doing stadiums. You should be aware that not everyone is able to maintain a level of relevance and success album after album, hence why some were grossing at 200+ million with their tours at some point but can barely crack 80M now even while touring 4 continents.

Well, she doesn't take her tours seriously, she arrives ALWAYS late and her concerts are a mess, we saw that with the ANTI world tour, so it's normal that there is no such a huge demand compared to her peers.

What's more amazing is that she and bey are the only females that are booking stadiums in Europe. When will the other's?

I'm not saying that Rihanna is a flop or anything. I'm aware of all of what you've said, I mentioned that just because another member made that comment about her "stadium-status" as it was something to brag about when it's not.

Wrong. Rihanna did some stadiums on The Last Girl On Earth Tour and Loud Tour.

Because Katy and Taylor have much younger skewing fan bases, are more family friendly and have a lot of parents taking children (also the case with Justin Bieber). Adults spending their own money for their own entertainment tend to be a little more discerning and demanding.

Having 8 successful albums is an accomplishment on its own, let’s not act like most artist start a steep career decline after 2/3 successful eras.

Also, nobody cares about a stadium date you did once, in the midst of a festival...
I'm talking about an entire leg of your tour dominated by stadium dates.

- Gaga did her first stadium leg at 27yo.
- Katy still can't do it and she's 32yo.
- Adele will do hers at 28yo.
- Beyonce is on her first one at 35yo.

Taylor is really the only other artist to pull this feat so young.
Rihanna is running wayyyyy ahead of where most your faves were at 28yo…

Yes Rih got an early start, released a lot of albums and accomplished a lot at a young age. OK, that's nice but that doesn't address the concern about Rih seeing a touring decline only on her fifth proper world tour while nearly everyone else is building steadily in a still expanding and very healthy touring market. Anti was Rih's first solo tour in three years and she struggled to sell out arenas in the US when she'd sold out every one on the DWT. Europe also declined. If Rih is having issues filling arenas as a 20-something still churning out #1 hits, where do you think she'll be by her mid-30s if she does nothing to remedy her current perception as a touring act?

Some of y'all try to use that "stadium status at 20-whatever!!" nonsense to try and shade Bey while ignoring the fact that Bey built up to 100% stadiums by her fourth solo tour -- something not one of the other current pop girls have done yet -- and just notched her second $200m+ grossing tour in the space of three years.

A little perspective: Madonna began her entire career at 27. It's about achievements, not age; cling to that if it makes you feel better tho.

Nothing here but facts. Rih struggled with her numbers this year, and it's very telling that her team won't release her Europe numbers. Peaking early is not something to brag about.

Rihanna had an leg of stadiums grossing like arena shows and had to cancel and down size them.
Bey never had to do this with her stadium shows when she was 28

Actually its about the achievements met at the age she's at, the biggest digital artist in history or #14 no. 1s at 28 for example. Its the reason 'the youngest artist to...' records exist. And y'all acting like Rih is performing in damn halls and at walmart parking lots when she will average at well over 100 million with less than 70 dates, she doesn't invest as much In her tours as she ought to but to act like she's completely done for with touring is foolish.

EDIT: And Rih's team always withholds tour numbers, they did with DWT and the Loud tour before that as well.
