They may be solo, but can you at least tell me why they are all forgotten?
Lets look at the stats shall we?
US iTunes:
#17 Side to Side (feat. Nicki Minaj)
#98 Side to Side (feat. Nicki Minaj)
#103 Into You
#116 Dangerous Woman
#547 Bang Bang (feat. Jessie J and Nicki Minaj)
#555 Let Me Love You
#786 Santa Tell Me
#991 Problem (feat. Iggy Azalea)
#1054 Break Free
#1072 One Last Time
#1106 Love Me Harder (feat. The Weeknd)
#1277 Focus
#1418 Be Alright
#583 Party In The USA
#746 The Climb
#1285 Wrecking Ball
Despite having so much power attached to her name apparently, all 5 singles from My Everything are still charting higher than Wrecking Ball, including her two solo singles from it and the 'flop' solo Focus is even higher
And don't let me bring up the YouTube stats, as for an 'iconic' video, Wrecking Ball getting only 100k views per day and predicted to hit 1B in four years is tragic, with Problem and Side to Side going to cross 1B by mid next year. Even if I don't compare it to Ariana due to her hits coming out later than Bangerz, many less iconic videos that came out before it are getting many more views per day, such as Diamonds, You Belong With Me and Roar which still getting over 1m per day.
I don't know about y'all, but I'd rather having successful features that are actually remembered and still have great streaming stats than a solo that soared high and then crashed
