Well I guess I should congratulate them, they successfully managed to translate into a video everything that painfully annoying about SJWs

Where in the video did any white person get judged for being white? Where is the anti-white discrimination? By pointing out how white people are complacent to discrimination through their positions in society?
This is the issue in ideology that arises.
Of course it's AWFUL to discriminate against anyone for their race, no matter what race it is; HOWEVER, what some people consider racism or discrimination is.....sad. The same posters who say that black men murdered in cold blood by awful police officers is just liberal propaganda are the ones who claim asking white people to check their white privilege is "anti-white racism", like what??
Telling people to check how they're complacent to institutional racism is NOT an act of racism in itself, like WTF.

Again, I say:
I never said that this video was racist

1) You're suggesting discriminating against white people is racism.
2) So I'm asking you for examples of non-white discriminating against white people and on a tangible level for it to be a systematic issue for concern.

Yes that is literally what racism is
Wikipedia
Quote:
Racism is discrimination and prejudice towards people based on their race or ethnicity.
|
Merriam-Webster
Quote:
a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
|
Oxford Dictionaries
Quote:
Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior:
|
Congrats to you if you use Tumblr as a dictionary but I see no reason to argue against people who use the commonly-accepted definition of a word

Arguing about whether discrimination and prejudice against someone based on their race constitutes "racism" is a dumb conversation to have and doesn't really accomplish anything, so

No, I'm asking you for real life examples of how white people face racial discrimination and prejudice.
We're not talking about semantics. I'm accepting your definition of racism to be one that doesn't rely on power and asking you to show me examples of what you mean because what you and others is implying is racism is a bit asinine.
Are whites disproportionately targeted by police?
Are they disproportionately denied loans?
Where is the prejudice??
I mean, sure, being called mayo is ****, but is that it? Sure, that's racist, but is that ALL you can list?
Where is the discrimination? Where is it?
This is the crux of why the "white people can face racism/discrimination/prejudice" argument falls apart. Where? How? When? Show me. Cause the very people you're quoting and agreeing with are suggesting asking white people to realize how they contribute to other races' discrimination is apparently "anti-white" discrimination in itself. So according to Y'ALL'S side, simply confronting racism in society, itself, is actually the racist thing to do, since it groups a type of people together.
That's what you're apparently saying if you can't offer me any type of anti-white discrimination examples. Please show me examples of people being targeted FOR whiteness.

The new "definitions" of racism are ridiculous, it just allows non-white groups to **** all over white people and then hide behind it.

Oh it def will intensify the discussions but if these are the kinds of discussions you wanna have then I don't think they will lead to the results you want.

oh c'mon, NO ONE is comparing what other groups experience as racism, NO ONE is saying the racism white people experience is worse, NO ONE is saying that the prejudice that black, latinos, asians and native americans experience is somehow less or the same as white people, we are just stating that white people experience RACISM IN A LOWER SCALE but in comparison with the racism other races experience the racism towards white people seems to be OK for media outlets like MTV or Buzzfeed,
this video is not confronting just racists, they are placing A WHOLE DEMOGRAPHIC in the same bag therefore this is discrimination and falls under a racial stereotype that in other cases would be considered racist, give me a BREAK

You didn't answer a single thing in that post. They emphasized "not all white guys" in the video.
When white men are largely ignorant of racial issues in this nation and will precede to turn a blind eye to those issues as well things are going to be addressed in this manner. So the video's not racist.

Yeah, there's no such thing such as reverse racism - it is just called racism.

This sort of gaslighting is why people don't take SJWs seriously.

Examining how one race is privileged and given power to act out institutional racism is "a racial stereotype"? Huh?
Again - people refuse to answer my question. Where is the "racism on a lower scale". What is the anti-white racism? Being told you're privileged? Being called mayo? That's the worst you got?

That word doesn't mean what you clearly think it means or you'd know your usage is laughable.

I used it properly and for a reason.
Trying to manipulate white people into thinking someone calling them a "cracker" or a BLM protester hitting them isn't racism is what put them off the movement. Trying to convince them that they can't have a seat at the table is what makes them go to the other end of the political spectrum and become anti-SJWs.
Try to be more inclusive and don't redefine words based on your agenda.
