I also thought that this would be a huge hit, but she should stop with this and move to another single. If this song would do it, we would have seen it already. The radio audience should have been already over 50m because of how old this song is. LOTB is doing what i was expecting this song to do actually. She should release Hey girl next because that's also nice for winter (but deep inside i feel like this can do a "like i'm gonna loose you" and go top 10)

Songs moving really slowly on the radio doesn't mean that they can't become hits later As long as it keeps gaining spins and audience from day to day, it has a chance to take off later.

What's the point of moving on to the next single? It will do even more horribly on the radio if they just kill MR instead of giving it a chance to take off and that way gain some support for Gaga and her future singles from the radio

It's almost cute how people still do not get what Joanne is all about and still trying to treat the album like it's another blockbuster thing that needs to be pushed down our throats with multiple singles, videos and ideas of how to keep it afloat.

I have no doubt that neither Gaga nor her labels think MR is gonna smash.

MR is what it is. A great song, with sightly less than moderate success.

The music is good but what can we do if no one is streaming her songs, and radio doesn't play her? She and Britney are in the same boat, flawless material but the interest is just not there and never will be anymore.

Not because another song will do better, but as a fan of the album i have the right to say that i want a MV for Hey girl and them trying to push this song is only lowering the chances of making that happen. And i swear i don't believe that Gaga changed a bit. She made music like this to say she doesnt care about the charts because she was going to do bad anyway. If she had the chance she would pushing it down our throats. I like Joanne and her old albums but this is Gaga and don't be so defensive If she doesnt care about "Chart success" then there wouldnt be any strategies to make a song a hit so move on to something else. you have done what you could do right? MR has failed to take off and that happens sometimes. It could blow up in the new year. But after the discounts, performances and promo it doesn't look that way.

Release A-yo and if that flops then cancel the era and come back with better music!

Don't you know how songs become hits? Successful girls' songs get picked up by the radio and get added on TTH playlist very quickly after they do promo, performances and etc. and that's how people keep buying and streaming those songs. I guess promo and performances without the radio support are enough for Adele, Taylor and Beyonce to have hits but not for Gaga.

The song still doesn't have 10m AI on the radio despite being added almost 2 months ago so Idk how it will become a hit.

I don't buy a ******** about Gaga not caring for charts, Joanne being a completely different album which purpose is not to have a hits (!!!!11) either. She has SIX MR videos on her VEVO. If someone didn't care about having hits, they wouldn't add that many videos.

MR is still being played on the radio. Little by little. As long as it's being played, it has a chance to blow up there. So we shall wait for post-Christmas time and see how it goes

Well, since she's in charge of everything now, she most likely does. Gaga re-negotiated her contract with Interscope so she could hold off her manager from adding songs on TTH, make him delete her songs from playlists after 1 week, make garbage videos and spam VEVO with performances.

Yeah they obviously want it to be successful and have hits and they wanted MR to hit top 10 or whatever. They and her put the effort into it.

However your reasoning has nothing to do with appreaciating the music which is something that I'm doin.

If she wanted to she could easily release an album/single/video with another high profile star just to make sure it smashes. She did not.

Either becasue she's still pretentious enough to think Joanne will have a smash on its own or she simply is telling the true that Joanne is a different kind of album.
