The Bushes skipped over Trump and only voted down ballot so Jimmy will likely remain the only one and get flack for it. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

irrelevant. at first it destroyed him in the polls and hillary soared but that was only until pussygate eventually energized his supporters. even the women who supported him begged him to grab their *****.

trump was made into such an awful person (he is) in the media and that made every serious thing he did completely irrelevant to his supporters. they wanted someone awful (because they're awful) and he was that.

this isn't 2012 where a presidential candidate could be destroyed by saying 50% of voters already have their mind up. there was no moral standard in the republican side. there was no destroying trump on things he's said because he's said it all.

Trump was very lucky the pussygate video came out two days before the debate. Pence and Kellyanne were refusing to talk to the media and the party seemed about to dump on him, then he ripped into Hillary and Bill at the debate and stopped the collapse of his campaign. The video was meant to be released by NBC after the debate, but then the Washington Post found out on Friday and leaked the news. If that hadn't happened it could have been a lot different.

the timing of that video was perfect for trump. had it come out in the last of october/first of november he would be done and hillary would have the first landslide since reagan.

unfortunately it happened so far out that it gave his base enough time to process and accept it. unlike the fraudulent email re-opening case.

once they accepted the tape then trump could seriously do no wrong.

This is exactly why democrats need to stop being everyone's saviors and let people suffer these 4 years especially uneducated whites. They should be hit HARD.

We have to sacrifice livelihoods for partisan purposes a little.

I half way agree. If nothing is done for the whole 4 years then no democrat will be elected, but America deff needs at least 2 years of realizing what a colossal **** up they caused.


Democrats need to lay low for 2 years and regroup, then they need to start building their candidate. Things cannot be ****ed up in the next primary like they were this time around. If someone is losing they need to graciously bow out, there needs to be an understanding there. Dems need to spend the last half of the next 4 years solidifying the party if they want a chance of beating Trump.

The democratic primary this year had a rather terrible turnout. Hillary and Obama got 17.5m+ votes in 2008. This year didn't come close at all despite the substantial population growth meanwhile the republican primary drew record breaking numbers and Trump won more votes than any other candidate in the primary. Very weird how signs were there that Trump would win but we all ignored them.

People without a high standard of education and people in the 'left behind' areas of the UK voted overwhelmingly for Brexit. Particularly people in the once very-employable industrial heartlands, much like somewhere like PA.

Every time we came here in here though and tried to make the comparison to Brexit we were shouted down. True its not exactly the same, but the parallels really are there.

No. She shouldn't have said it in the first place. It was never going to help her. I saw plenty of Clinton supporters even ashamed of it. And it was never, ever, going to sway undecided voters.

I just can't believe people thought she ran a good campaign. I get if you support her, fine. But to try and make out that was a good nationwide campaign is just NOPE. It was a campaign to win all states that were never going to turn Red - who exactly was she reaching out to? It was a god damn mess.
