So I just ran a little experiment on Grindr.

I guess it wasn't really an experiment, but I just reached out to as many people under 30 people that were in my area... that I could find reasonably atttactive.

16 guys.

1 black guy, 2 Asian guys, a few hispanics and the rest white.

Results:
-2 guys blocked me on first contact
-12 ignored me (no reply yet)
-2 guys replied
The black guy (but only AFTER a two hour wait and me finally dropping that I was an engineering student at a top 20 university... I can't believe that was what it took ) and an enthusiast white bottom who was looking for BBC (not necessarily a bad thing)

So I'm pretty sure this is kind of the norm.

Being rejected goes deeper than sex.

On the surface level yes I can see the argument: "you don't get sex, boo hoo, go masturbate," etc

But on a more emotional level, if you have no where else to turn for intimacy, it erodes your self-esteem and challenges your sense of belonging.

Part of dealing with it is talking about it. Why are you so uncomfortable that people talk about it and how it affects them more than the fact that it happens to being with?

Also, comparing to gays in the middle east is a false equivalence. Even then, are you saying gays in the middle east should stop speaking out for themselves? Your logic here doesn't mesh.

PoC are pressed at racism. In all it's forms in all areas of life.

Talking about one doesn't take away discussion from the other. Again, your logic is weak with this Middle East example.

Asian gays have it worse but I don't see them cry or attack white guys every chances they get

Seems like the OP is loosing sleep over this, hence he created a thread about it, and reading his post he sounds so pressed and upset about it

I am a POC and I don't created a thread about this. I see this 'Only Whites' on profiles, but is only a few Whites who do this out of so many Whites that don't. I don't see this as a big issue tbh. I just ignore these silly men. I don't loose sleep over this. I am Dark Skin latino and you should see how many Whites I have met on Grindr this year. I guess I seem nice to them for them not to ignore me or maybe I am just too cute.

This entire thread does not exist because a few black gays got rejected - they're here because almost all black gays have been rejected, purely for their skin colour. You know what discrimination, sorry "preference", against people because of the colour of their skin is called? Racism.

Unfortunately, this is not true

There are plenty of gay friendly environment which are very white dominated and so it can feel of especial importance to feel romantically desired by some of them. A lot of places outside America don't have huge strong Black/POC communities with their own LGBT ecosystems.
