I personally didn't see them getting another notable hit. Worth It / WFH just stuck to current trends and got lucky. WI wasn't even that huge and every song in between went practically unnoticed. The album sales also clearly tell a tale.

Add on rumored tensions (or at least what I read on ATRL throughout this year) and the connections she was making outside the group, she dipped at the right time.

Yeah we have such a distorted view on the business side of things but u saying this clearly shows that you have a perfect perspective on it.

Just saying but her not doing at least one more album when they just had the biggest hit of their career this year is plain stupid from a business point of view.
The extra album would not only have helped the group to really cement their position in pop culture but also would've served as a much better platform for her solo career.

And we all know that they probably would've been done anyway after three albums, that was bound to happen, now it's just messy because of her.

This is another point that many people seem to forget, if she stayed and they delivered an album full of hits as a full group then maybe this question wouldn't even have been here cause it probably would've been all ok.

Me as a casual fan of them only like WI, WFH, TMG and Sledgehammer.

And yes I can't tell who's Camilla from the five girls so if they play it smart they get another girl and that's it.

All these C apologists . Ok either y'all are really deep in denial or need to really gain some perspective. Yeah, nobody's arguing that the music business isn't cutthroat and competitive place but it's more commendable that artists get to where they are without being ungrateful to their fanbase and throwing their own peers under the bus for their own interest when all 5 of them have solo ambitions.

Like I swear, did she and her team honestly think that presenting such a selfish ass idea of a freaking hiatus catered solely to her solo career, while they were just starting to get recognized and had the MOST VIEWED music video of the year () would fly with the rest of the girls?

She isn't the only one with problems with how the group is managed or the material they have to record. Like all 5 of them have, at one point or another, voiced their issue with creative control and not having any input in writing.

I swear wasn't Lauren having a hard time coping with fans invading her personal space? And wasn't she just OUTED BY HER OWN FAN BASE of all things? She could have stopped right then and there but my girl pushed on like it's nothing and hopefully is still in it for the long run.

And Normani had every reason to bail after the Camilizers went on a rampage on her twitter, calling her every racist slur under the sun, even photoshopping her face on a freaking person hanging off a noose, but my girl hung on, because she knows that she needed to brush it off and focus on what's important.

So, if you STILL don't understand how Camila's in the wrong, then god help you in your own endeavers and the people you meet (here's to hoping they can identify the hissing sounds at least). And for the record, if 4H break up because of her, then she's toast .
