They never said they didn't know she was leaving. They just didn't know when, and wanted to try and work it out with her, but she didn't care to even honor their attempts.
Like, it's baffling me that you guys are STILL defending her.

Their initial statement read as if it was sprung on them with some kind of immediacy, hence the note that the word came from her rep. It made Camila look like she just up & left, which was exactly their goal.
And WHAT is there to defend? She didn't "honor their attempts" because she had already made her decision. They just didn't want to accept it, for a year and a half. Not her problem.

No it didn't. You guys are putting words in their mouths. They never said they just found out, that it was sprung on them, etc.
So if she knew she was leaving for a year and a half, she was just hanging along for the ride, skidding along the hard work of the group while caring more about her solo career and doing **** behind the other girls backs, and not caring to show up to actually communicate with them? Lovely.

Comprehension darling. I said "the initial read as if", hence they IMPLIED it. Which has the benefit of presenting something in a certain context, without literally saying it. And that's exactly what they did, to intentionally make her look evil.
And the second paragraph is pure fanfic  . She fulfilled all of her obligations, and served more life on stage than any other member.

They didn't even imply it though  You guys are literally making that up. Nowhere in that statement did it even HINT at that.
And it's fanfic because she didn't know for sure that she was leaving a year and a half ago. She had no idea when it would be.
