I was born in the most diverse city in America so, yes. Haven't seen any black people in my neighborhood but school was very diverse and that's where I would meet them, also at work.
No, there are very few black people in my country. But at high school my best friend was black (in fact mulatto but she looked much more black than white if you care) and atm one of my university profs is black.
I grew up in Cali where the population is half white/half hispanic and some black people. I can't imagine living somewhere where all you see is whites. I went to Utah once and it was so jarring to see such a lack of diversity.
