For karaoke, I've done SO MANY Janet songs. Control, Nasty (my favorite Janet karaoke), Escapade, The Best Things In Life Are Free, Again, Any Time Any Place, You Want This, Twenty Foreplay, Together Again, I Get Lonely, Someone To Call My Lover, and No Sleeep (which isn't a flop BTW).

I do karaoke almost weekly. About to do some tonight. Wondering what my pick will be this week...I'm thinking Miss You Much. Or I'll do Call On Me and dedicate it to ATRL members.

I think Unbreakable will be Janet's farewell album, and in my opinion, I think it should be. Unbreakable was an amazing album, and approaching 50 and a baby on the way (still), I would like Unbreakable to be her last album. Her fans kept waiting for a new album after Discipline, and they got it.

I absolutely agree with you. My whole vision is of Janet having an 'a-ha' moment and thinking, "I can't leave it this way." Unbreakable is kind of a fantasy album for a Janet fan. It was a proper reunion with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, it touched on so many styles and themes, it's a journey, it's intimate, it's fun, and it's mature. It's a grown-up album that doesn't feel staid or stuffy. It's definitely more mellow than what she was recording at her height, but that makes sense because she's older and maybe a bit more 'even keel.'

After thirty years of music, you can listen to Unbreakable with so much pride and joy, hearing the story get such a thoughtful, triumphant closing chapter. I think the woman on Unbreakable is exactly who people hoped the girl on Control would become.
