OT: I remember when Icon ran a contest and which MDNA song you would choose to fit for a month and I said Falling Free would be like in December and how the piano arrangement was made like a movie scene for when snow falls etc etc.

Does anyone have the 2012 vinyl re-issue of Erotica? I saw it in a record store and kinda want to buy it, but I read a few user reviews that said the sound quality is crap. Is it really that bad?

Hmmm. I don't think it's up to par for that caliber of a collab but I don't even think In The Closet - which Michael wanted to record with her - would've been incredible enough. We're talking the two defining pop musicians of all time, it needed to be ASTRONOMICALLY good.

tbh it's probably for the best it didn't.. It's better to just imagine how huge it could have been, because a duet between two stars of their magnitudes would never live up the hype.

MJ & Madonna collab would have been bad - to be really honest I don't even like collabs in general. They're usually bad, and few people's voices REALLY go together.
Madonna and Isaac singing Paradise together at the Confessions tour is the only GREAT collab I can think of that she's done. "Veni Vidi Vici" is of course cool, but that's just the usual white girl feat. black rapper thing that always works out cause they're never really even singing together, just spliced up.

I'm no audiophile. I will use earbuds from Dollar Tree and headphones from Walmart, no problem. But I am an EXPERT on all things aesthetically pleasing, so let's talk what really matters: LOOKS. The 2012 Rhino reissue of Erotica uses artwork that, to my eyes, is not quite as sharp as it should be. Par exemple, the cover is rather blurry compared to what you'd see on original pressings from the '90s. It resembles a scan.
If you can find it, this year's repress by the same company seems to be an improvement.
