I really like Remy, so I refuse to badmouth her.

Nicki deserves far more respect as an emcee than she gets, that for sure, BUT alot of her most well known songs aren't lyrically anything great. And the she insists on releasing crap like Anaconda and PnP to represent her sound. She really needs to stop striving so much for controversy and easy hits and just release quality, bombastic music.

If Nicki had dropped Lookin Ass on itunes, spotify and the video on youtube, I have no doubt it would have been much bigger. As it was, she dropped the song on soundcloud, the video on WSHH () and on itunes weeks later.


And High School was just unfortunately released at a time when people really didn't **** with her.

Yes her known tracks like Starships and Anaconda isn't lyrically great. Anaconda was a sample from Sir-Mix-Alot and the people loved it. Onika didn't want to release Anaconda because she wanted the sells if that what you are thinking. She didn't even want Anaconda on the album. She wanted Lookin Ass instead but since it sold alot she was forced to put it on the album.

BUT you are missing Only, Truffle Butter, and BITT. Only and TB both sold well. Hell, TB was nominated for a grammy without promo and a video. Only and TB did very well and had a lot more quality than Starships and Anaconda. IMO PNP is lyrically great but it should've remained as a track album not a lead single.
