Uhhh....why is polarizing misspelled & in quotations? Not sure what you're trying to imply here.
I have literally expressed the same argument as you when The Edge Of Glory initially dropped (only to realize later she had a negative experience with the video director, so I KNOW it wasn't supposed to be a messy boring video)
A Million Reasons was disappointing, straight up. No, I'm not going to excuse this and say "well she did make a great video in 2009 and some okay ones in the early 2010's", and I'm certainly not going to accept this as 'diversity', it's straight up boring. (Adele sitting in a chair for Rolling In The Deep was much MUCH more entertaining)
Again, I'm a fan and still continue to be, but there's times (like now) where you have to admit Gaga is capable of making lackluster videos.
