I thought this at first when he was elected but it's looking more and more like the Republicans are pushovers and are afraid of him tbh. He literally is just able to walk around and do what he wants with no consequences.
Where he MAY run into problems is if he doesn't allow Paul Ryan to run his agenda (fully repealing Obamacare, privatizing social security) he may run the risk of impeachment because they're going to feel like he didn't hold to his end of the bargain but even then, that's a huge MAYBE.
