Lana sings about the same stuff anyone else does, she just does it in a way that sets her apart from her contemporaries. and whether you like it or not she's carved her own lane and is original, which is more than you can ask for in a sea of dayas, balseys, britneys and tinashas

She relied too much on production and still does tbh
Her voice is pretty much like Anya Marina's when she doesn't do the faux deep thing, and her productions are now washed out and watered of tons of indie singers
She's sort of fallen into the general tumblr crowd group now
If anything she should just beg for a visual budget since people liked that more

The HM single choices were horrible aside from HBTB, imo. The BTD singles were actually great. Personally, I love BTD, but the era was great because of all the leaks and everything happening around it.
