They just scream throughout the entire song, and all the songs sounds like the other. And the fans are by far the most pretentious

Metal/screamo fans are the most pretentious music genre fans just above old rock music fans who comment things like "Bohemian Rhaspody was written by one person, [insert Top 40 song here] was written by 4-6 >:[" or "Can we PLEASE trade Justin Bieber or Nicki Minaj for Freddie Mercury" or the worst of all: "I'm 19 and I HATE my current generation's music" as though to make themselves stand out
