The X Factor last night scored its lowest ratings for a final show in its 12 year history. The marathon Saturday show between 8PM and 10:05PM averaged 5.5 million viewers. The show was down 400,000 viewers on 2015 and almost 3 million below 2014's level.
It wasn't quite a series low but was down on recent weeks, with 5.8 million watching the semi-finals last Saturday
She has a chance but he's the favorite after yesterday.
It will really come down to the winner songs now
I really don't think that there's much that can be done now, my logic is that Matt got overshadowed so his good duet performance won't motivate votes, and the show had less viewers than last week, assuming that Saara's fans largely stayed put (they seem the most devoted) she should have a larger share than the last two weeks that she likely won. I think she could do it.
They're BASICALLY head to head in betting odds now with Matt still having a slight advantage
Again, not to be a pessimist but I remember that Fleur basically caught up to and even overtook Ben on the Sunday after drifting considerably on the Saturday
Final prediction: she's actually so far ahead that they're letting it be a fair contest, and she'll beat him by a decent margin.
