Wow... all that sabotage... a publicized hate campaign... and she rose?
Love her as a pokémon, I have her to thank for my username, and Aciid didn't sabotage Steelix last gen so I had no reason to be mad. I liked her since I was ****ing 7, and I liked her even more when she got a slayful evolution and one of the only baby pokémon I don't hate. I'm happy it ****ing rose, and I loved using her in lower tiers once eviolite came out. One of the best grass types in the game imo, with two equally worthy relatives.
Topmaster 2 "can't stand this puta", and A Bomb finds it to be "ugly useless Gen IV needed to save it." Eeveelution is another hater, "Something about her is so... annoying. Maybe her cry? The way her Poison Point always activates in-game? Thank God Roserade exists." Not all doom and gloom though, I'm JAVIng Fun thinks that it's "one of the best designed ones this gen."
Dishonourable mention for jpow who admitted in his commentary to being petty against Aciid and especially for Phresh for penning this masterclass in being a petty bitch, "Sorry accid but you will not attack me and my fave pokemon like you did and not suffer some consequences, rot in compost bitch. FYI [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED] line are her other faves girls, GET HER in other gens." |

Of all the pokémonthat made Top 20 this time... I think am most proud of this lil guy
Amazing concept, taking the discarded shell of the molting Cicada and bringing it to life, amazing design, the way they twisted a shell design into an angelic shape without losing any of the source reference, and amazing gimmick. I was so gagged to see 1HP when I first got one. How the hell does it battle? When I actually used one though, so fun. It's never going to thrive in competitive play, but it has its niches and that's really the best you can get with this extreme level of gimmickry! Fantastic pokémon, in my personal top 10 for the generation.
AbeHicks throws a lil shade to be real cute, "A living shell of a pokemon. It moves about as much as Katy does during concert." Phresh is also a stan, "QUEEN amazing ability, amazing design, annoying they had to limit her just because she was a ghost type though, this bias continues into gen 7 with the Gengar nerf. #GhostLivesMatter" Yes they do.
