I barely find grass and water Pokemon. Granted, I could just go to Santa Monica Pier, and probably find a boat load of water Pokemon. It's like 15-20 minutes away from me.

The standalone pokemons are the hardest to get i think. but i'm very lucky because i live in istanbul

Let me update you guys So today i added 2 more pokemons to my pokedex !!!!!

I caught 3 Squirtles so i have a Blastoise now. (actually i dont have it because i want to evolve it when i have the lucky egg)
I caught 2 Vulpix's so i have a Ninetales now (same as above)
I caught 2 Grimers so 33 candies
50 Abra candies
36 Kabuto candies

I caught a lot different pokemons today so i'm satisfied Caught another Scyther with over 1300cp. i'm at 32 candies. and i'm sick of Mr. Mimes I'm very close to fill my pokedex


(Wish i never evolved my Abra cause i caught a much much stronger one later )

i like the update especially the tracker now. i like that it shows both nearby and sightings. gonna go try it out. i dont know that much about Gen 2 though, are there any pokemon i should be catching now to prepare for gen 2? like someone above said theyre starting to get more scyther candies because he evolves into a gen 2.

Lol i'm about to get my second Vileplume but i'll wait for gen2 so i can evolve it into Bellosom and i caught 65 Bellsprouts and i'm about to get my second Victreebel but i'm waiting to get a lucky egg. I've caught so many pidgeys etc. When i have my lucky egg just by evolving i will gain 45k exp i need to catch a lot more though, 45k is LOW when you are level 25

Ugh. I hatched a Bellsprout, too, and got enough to evolve it to Weepingbell. Now I have to get it up to 100, though.

Meanwhile I'm completely out of Growlithe candies and my Arcanine is falling behind all my other battling Pokemon

The new update on sightings made me both happy and mad at the same time so i can't say anything yet. I think it there should be 2 options for sightings though.

The only Pokemon I have left to get are:

Ivysaur: 11 candies
Venusaur: 100 candies
Charizard: 33 candies
Ninetales: 4 candies
Rhydon: 15 candies
Dragonite: 86 candies

I just evolved my Golem and it's 1800 CP with stone edge. But, I still haven't caught Ditto yet.

Still haven't caught a Ditto. I'm going to be in Santa Barbara today, so maybe I'll pickup a few water Pokemon.
