That's nothing, on rare occasions I'll walk to downtown and back. It's about 18-19 miles. I could play Control through The Velvet Rope in that stretch But I won't be doing that walk any time soon because damn.
Not sure if this was posted already, but Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis did a lecture at the Red Bull Music Academy in Montreal and they give so much insight to the work they've done with Prince, The Time, Janet, Cheryl Lynn, Cherelle, Alexander O'Neal, and others. They are GENIUSES and I really recommend you all watch this.
You Can Be Mine can go either way for me. I wouldn't be mad if it were on the soundtrack for Teen Witch or something. But if I heard it playing in the next room at a party, I wouldn't shove people out of the way to get to it, either.
Ain't nobody gonna stop me. Plus I live on the North Side, where there's nothing to fear.
