lana is a good lyricist in the sense that she has been able to come up with recurring motifs and "lanaisms" but yes, for the most part, her lyricism (especially on honeymoon) is somewhat lackluster

Recycling phrases is never a sign of good writing. See Madead on Hard Candy for example. The noticeable downfall in her lyrics coinciding with overuse of "waiting/hesitating/anticipating" and "fuzzy dream" & all her other bs.
