Perfect Illusion had a radio deal and still couldn't reach 50M AI, not my fault radios aren't here for her anymore. Not like her team ain't trying to promote MR at radio, they're spamming AllAccess with ads every week.

Wow, good for her, congrats and etc. but what all of it has to do with MR struggling on the radio?
All we did say was that Rihanna's team is good enough to put some of her singles on TTH since it's vital for songs' success on the charts. Sometimes it's also good when the radio hates you and is hesitant to play your singles which is not Rih's case but it's Gaga's, so a bit of Spotify payola could actually help MR more than all that promo
Work and Needed Me were on TTH (not sure about NM) because they were... actual hits. They've been doing well on Spotify ever since they were released. Regardless, Rih is a streaming force.

This has held up really well despite it's never been discounted. Starboy and Don't Wanna Know have both been discounted (one of them is still under the "$" effect).

Promo is not embarassing. The embarassing thing is when you promote/discount and can't go to the top 20 on HOT100. When Rihanna promoted she went to #1. When Rihanna discounted Only Girl she went #1 on the HOT100. Meanwhile, PI/MR can't outsell KIB.
But LOTB is Top 20 on iTunes and hasn't been promoted since the 1:20 segment of it at the VMAs before it was even announced as a single.
LOTB is smashing in sales without a discount or performances. The demand is in fact there. So radio will in fact play it.
Not really. LOTB was performed on several award shows, it got a quick lil boost after each of them and then freefell out of the top 100 after a few days as soon as the exposure ended. That's how it usually works for songs with no airplay.
It wasn't until it started getting airplay that it started selling again
So I'm not sure why you guys expect performances from weeks/months ago to still affect MR sales right now?
