I wouldn't count on the Joanne tour outgrossing the DW Tour. Gaga's touring grosses are on a downward trend while the DW Tour will certainly outgross the Honeymoon Tour seeing as the tickets are a lot more expensive this time around yet it's still already selling out arenas around the world, enough to have second dates added. Gaga might have a niche album buying audience, but that doesn't guarantee that the GP are going to pay to show up to her tour.
Ok sis we'll see. She'd be able to do artRAVE numbers without the Superbowl but with it she's going to do much bigger numbers. Also, going downwards from a nearly $200M grossing tour (almost there if parts weren't cancelled) isn't exactly bad. Honeymoon grossed so low that it HAS to go up. It's about perspective. Gaga's touring lows will still be bigger than Ariana's touring highs despite downward trends.

No one actually believes that Joanne is Lemonade level (yes my post above about Lemonade pandering was trolling if that wasn't apparent to everyone) but Joanne's ability to sell the way its selling with 1 BOMB of a lead single and virtually 0 support from radio says something. I mean come on, imagine if she had ONE song with just Into You typed airplay. I'm not even talking DW or STS sized. The album would currently be T5 on SPS.

Also, yeah, a radio hit would obviously help, but it's not like Perfect Illusion wasn't given a chance. Its radio audience was just as big as Dangerous Woman's after a week. Radio only dropped it after it began underperforming on iTunes and Spotify.

I mean he even managed to make I Really Like You a Spotify hit (230m streams) even when the song flopped super hard.
He literally added the song on every single playlist on Spotify.
He still couldn't make Tori Kelly happen though.
Also, Scooter only showed up before Side To Side. Into You and Dangerous Woman did well on their own. I will say though, it does feel good to have him back.
This needs to be the last single. It could be the One Last Time of the era! I could see it doing well in non-English Europe, which has been paying Ariana's singles dust this era.
