I think she loved it and it was never gonna be part of the album so the record company just put it out there and it kinda blew up in Europe

Lol everytime i come here in this thread i'm praising it. Still proud of how did this smash out of nowhere  The views are a bit low though for 2016. It should have been close to 700m views or something. 300m isn't really impressive anymore.

Epic Records had Meghan, the hit maker of the label, writing this song and she got an expensive music video. But Epic doesn't care about anybody's success outside of the US, that's why they don't let Zara Larsson release an album since signing contract with them without having a hit in US first, despite being huge it girl in Europe

Back to the topic: I am so glad "Ain't Your Mama" ended up smashing, it is such an amazing song! I can't believe US and UK paid it dust. I am pretty sure it'd be certified in Portugal by now too.
