Yeah. Although it's really aesthetically pleasing.

It looks pretty, but the new thread pages are bloated. The colours are bleak all in the similar shades of grey and you sometimes can't tell a difference between a post, a signature and a quoted post. They focused too much on making it look pretty and not on usability. I hope it changed a bit since beta, but it was pretty bad last time i used it.

Wait, the chronological view is basically my main way of navigating this site. Otherwise, I'll miss the fun threads since I last logged in

True, I hope they add that post-launch

Don't think so. I suggested it several times during beta. Instead they focused on making the front page look pretty with useless repeating information. Pretty much moving header into the main page and repeating all the information, and then repeating it again on the side bar.
Chronological view is so useful. When I have my breakfast in the morning or when I come back from work I just go through all the pages I missed since my last visit. "Most popular threads recently" doesn't help much because you will always get useless threads like "Gaga looking hot in new bikini" or "Britney's new date" because stans will flood them with "Omg queen, slay mama" comments. Where as some indie artist you love will never get many comments on newly released albums or singles and they will easily get lost among newer threads and you can miss a release.
I love ATRL for being able to catch up with all new releases without having to go to 100 different websites. If this functionality is lost it will be very disappointing. But once again, I will keep an open mind until I see the final product.
