I did not dictate anybody anything. I simply called out the offensiveness and insensitivity of people listing out Castro's adequate side, considering the negative impact he's had on the Cuban-African community. I advocated that perhaps they should be told to stop or get threadbanned.

It's not about bowing down to America. He failed to do what both the American and Cuban people wanted for decades. A vibrant two-party democracy with peaceful relations between both countries. All of these countries have embraced those criteria. Can't say the same about Cuba.
Depending on the decade and president, the move to peace was underway, but they continued to screw up. For example. Bill Clinton in the 90s. He was the most pro-Cuban president, but Fidel continued to hinder progress.
