Why did JLO have longevity?

JLO is entering her 20th year and more relevant than ever- has one of the biggest Vegas residencies of all time, is coming for a 1 billion viewed video, over 50 million followers on IG, still talked about and has crowds form everywhere she goes 
Why has JLO been so relevant for 2 decades?

isn't JLO the only 90s girl to truly conquer social media with over 50 million followers on IG and a 1B video on VEVO? that's impressive, no matter how you try to spin it.
Jennifer's longevity is insane, her star power is the reason for her hugely success residency in Vegas, she's in her late 40s and can compete with the younger gen on all fronts, even their home turf...social media

She's literally ageless, she's a hard-worker, she oozes that star-quality and determination and unlike some of her peers, hasn't lost her will to success.

She's a very good actress, and she releases great material. She's always present in the media, and we can safely say she's one of the most famous people in the world.

JLO is the ultimate triple threat- conquered film, music and television
Her star has expanded this decade imo- they said she peaked in the 2000s, then 2010s came around and she picked up massive successful projects, the new generation is now aware of her, she has cross demographic appeal
Kids know JLO now since she made herself accessible to them (like Angelina), but they don't know a lot of 90s acts who stopped working hard
Teens know JLO and check for her a lot too, that's why she is one of the biggest on social media...even in her 40s, it's insane
Jennifer Lopez is probably the only performer who can rival Angelina Jolie in star power.

No they don't  What kind of fantasy land ******** You JLo fans have been TRYING it for several months on this site. She's not more relevant than ever. Her relevancy peaked in 2002/2003. Get your head on straight.
She has like three hit songs to her name and all of them are not remembered. Jenny From The Block is a maybe but that's only because it's attached to her name as a nickname in news constantly. On The Floor was a quick lil hit in 2011, and that was 5 years ago. Let's also not act like most of that success wasn't attributed to the Pitbull feature and the sample. Everything music-related she's done since OTF has flopped.
Anyway, JLo has longevity because she keeps herself and her name in the spotlight by wearing the same dress to award shows she will never be nominated at.

According to wiki, the only movie she starred in in 2016 was Ice Age and that received overwhelmingly negative reviews and flopped hard compared to all other movies, making less than half of what the 2012 movie did. That power

It basically quadrupled its gross that's success, stop discrediting her hustle negative reviews or not, people are talking about JLO, haters keep her famous. $400 million is incredible, if a pop girl had a tour gross that, you'd be saying it was amazing, but because this is JLO you backtrack 
2016: JLO has a hit song, a hit movie, a hit residency, executive producer of hit TV show Shades of Blue.
hit tour, hit song, hit film, hit TV show. the ultimate entertainer.
JLO has conquered music, film and television at the same time for nearly 20 years, who else is doing this right now?

Here in Latin America she's insanely popular among all generations due to the media considering her a Latina when she isn't. On the Floor was indeed huge but due to several factors, one of them, the sample, lambada was really popular in the past here and it brought so many memories to people, Pitbull was hot at the moment and Jennifer released a good video + a good song after trying several times.
Her movies haven't been really popular here, not since "Monster-In-Law" and "Maid in Manhattan". Aside from those two, no one knows she was a tiger on "Ice Age" and American Idol lost its popularity here after The Voice and even The X Factor came in the picture. Her TV show has found moderate success here but mostly because people criticize the way she looks, which is a bit different.
Yes, J.Lo has had longevity but not because of music and acting, it's because she's mostly a celebrity nowadays.

The hate though...
Pffff!!!! Facts are ON, she has failed on recent musical projects and of course age has something to do with it and her releasing great material, but to deny her staying star power (and yes thats not only about people buying her music) with the failures is so dumb!!!!!
or how do you say that Alicia hasn't moved so much with that perfect voice and as iconic as she is even while her album is so great and wise lyrically!!
Theres a time things fail and when luck is back its going to work.
Its all about strategy, great material that people would be interested in, loyalty and Luck!!!!
