What an absolutely incredible album. I was nervous about it being SO long (regardless of it being 2 parts) but it's just on another level. THIS is the type of music that keeps integrity and depth in Country music. Definitely betting on AOTY noms in it's future.

So proud and happy of her with this...I get why every song is on the album, I really hope it's a huge success. I'll be sad it probably won't go to No. 1 (unless she gets double sales for every purchase?) but this is really stunning. I'm officially a Miranda stan, need to see this on tour.

What a lovely gem of a song

Beautifully introspective, self reflecting, one of her best choruses ever. Top that with clever lyrics that flows like water. Simply beautiful, and my personal fave from the album and my new anthem. Thank you Miranda

Right?! The way the drums kick in after "when the wind blows hard it'll follow me". The first part of the chorus is so sad, and then the "I'm hard on things that matter" line kicks in and all of a sudden she toughens up, only to go right back into being sad by realizing that she has to steer away from those things so she doesn't end up hurting anybody else. My God

That line is probably my favorite from the song and I love the melody of this line and the one that precedes it. Although I found a version of the lyrics that have this line as "when the wind blows hard it'll fall on me" with the "it" referring to the tree from the previous line.

What a great album, wow! This is the first body of work I hear by her, but she gained a new fan for sure! It will be long to properly digest it given the length of it, but I think I'll be listening to this all winter.

Faves are Runnin' Just In Case (reminds me a bit of Kacey's Somebody To Love in the chorus' melody) and Highway Vagabond.

(The thing is that even the lyrics in the leaflet may not be correct. I always thought that what is written there is the truth but in 2015 my beliefs were double shattered when there was a mistake not only in the leaflet of Piece by Piece by Kelly Clarkson but also in the leaflet of Last of Our Kind by The Darkness. )
