OK, I haven't realized until now that the song is called Six Degrees of Separation. Just a few seconds ago I was 110% sure that it was called Six Degrees of Desperation.
This album Miranda did that. It's even better than I was hoping it would be. The Never disk is better than The Heart disk (The opening track is just amazing and that 1-2-3-4 punch from Pink Sunglasses to Smoking Jacket might be her best run of songs ever) but The Heart has great moments too (Tin Man and I Got Wheels). Once again she delivered.
Imma just be flat out honest, I had to stop halfway through The Heart because I didn't like this record. If it's any consolation, I do like Pushin Time and Covered Wagon.
Me, I don't ever wanna get too close, or be held responsible
For all the pain that you can't see somebody once broke me"
"I'm hard on things that matter, hold a heart so tight it shatters, so I stay away from things that break"
What a lovely gem of a song
Beautifully introspective, self reflecting, one of her best choruses ever. Top that with clever lyrics that flows like water. Simply beautiful, and my personal fave from the album and my new anthem. Thank you Miranda

I'd say that the second half of The Heart is better than the first one but I suppose that that won't make you give it another chance.
It's so hard to get through it all, because I'm still FLOORED by the few that I've listened to. Not only that, but, I feel like there's so much substance in these songs, I'm finding it very hard to just "go to the next"
