The only issue I shifted on was like abortion. From being fairly neutral to letting it come down to the couple's decision to a woman's decision. Tbh I'm still uncomfortable having an opinion on that given that this probably affect me in the least way possible.
I was a SJW in my early teens and 20s. Fast forward 8 years.. almost 30 years old. Complete flip of the coin.
I remember being a rabid Hillary stan just like HeyMrDJ during the 2008 election, and was fuming when she lost the primaries, because I really wanted her to lead America after the whole Bush reign. I believed her experience would have helped the state of the country then.

if we were in mid-2015 and you asked me on my thoughts on BLM, I'd [most likely] say something really messy like "why not all lives matter?"
but I had my HUGE awakening at the start of 2016 and that's when I learned all about BLM and its true message, now I'm totally pro-BLM and anti-ALM bc I realised how petty "ALM" really is
