Yep, but we still have hope left. It's going to be 5-4 conservative again (although one sides with liberals at times).

All we need to do is get the Senate back in 2018 and the presidency in 2020 and hope no one dies or retires until then. We can get rid of them then. Kennedy will be 84 and Thomas might retire as he said he would.

Anyway, I'd love for Hillary to continue to be in the spotlight as an activist. That way, Trumps win won't be so demoralizing. People will see the good work and results Hillary is doing while Trump is fielding criticism of his administrations and policies.

It'll be a good juxtaposition.

This is true. Also, when you factor in the fact that she wouldn't have gotten anything done as POTUS with all the GOP obstructionism and her favorability rating is already low enough as it is.

Apart from Nevada none seem that likely to me and Nevada won't be enough to regain control.

Plus there's a lot of blue which makes me nervous the Dems could even lose some.

Dems will lose seats in 2018 - the only question is how many. 2018 is more about minimizing the damage rather than regaining seats - I don't think that's a scenario until 2020/2022.

Bernie is likely to keep his VT seat. The other Independent in Maine too.

Harry Reid was the driving force behind all the gains we made in Nevada from Hillary all the way down. He retired, but if he's willing to help at the local level instead dropping out of politics completely, we may still have a chance to do a repeat.

Aside from that and California/Oregon/Hawaii/New Mexico and a few in the Northeast, pray4us. We could end up losing lots of seats...
