I think Freak Show was far far worse. There was no solid plot line running throughout the whole season, there was no real terrifying villain or element of horror (other than Twisty who went away just a few episodes in). Some episodes were good but it literally felt like a drama a lot of the time. |
Freakshow's actually had a story, the heart of the season was Elsa Mars tragic story..
It was about a women, who was willing to do it all to get fame and fufill her dreams, even if took her that long, she became what she always wanted to be: A Star
And once she got everything she dreamed of, she realized that it wasn't actually for her, and that she already had everything she wanted, something that she built herself from the ground and with her own struggle and it wasn't shallow : Her Freakshow
It's about dreams sometimes being deceiving, but in the midst of all of this there were murders and psycopaths and clowns...
But i feel like it had an actual tragic and beautiful story if you really pay attention to it.
Now tell me what was the moral of Hotel... ?
