Honestly I'm shocked I don't worship that song, considering Namie and After School are two of my favourites in their respective fields.

From the short LQ audio it sounds nothing like bubblegum pop

I've been perched on JPS all day but it's still not up, sigh.
I guess my hopes aren't high given that High Tension was a pretty tragic song, but then again so was Kokoro no Placard and I lowkey stan that now so who knows what could happen.

Hoping for at least a couple of b-sides I can use, Tsubasa wa Iranai really killed my buzz for their b-sides after only liking Aishuu no Trumpeter.

Somehow Nogi's management doesn't want to rush the million sales, they only need to add Nogizaka's third generation to the handshake events, or do as AKB does with their sister groups and add Keyaki to their singles. But I like that theyre not desperate for the million and are getting there steadily

You forget the biggest crutch Nogizaka have always had though: AKB did it first. AKB were the foundation, they paved the way for Nogizaka and likewise those 35 members never could have done it without them.

Arguably if AKB didn't exist and Sony attempted the same thing, they wouldn't touch 800k.

Not to mention Nogizaka will forever ride the AKB-rival wave.

Also I know it sounds like it but I'm not trying to go crazy defensive for AKB or attack Nogizaka, I like both but I only use them for their music.

As a whole the High Tension single isn't the worst I've ever had, it's super consistent. Nothing stands out but I didn't detest any of it bar some of Shishunki no Adrenaline.
