She's clearly going to come out of this as the frontrunner for 2020. She and Bernie effectively took over the party when Clinton lost. They've been everywhere since.

And Bernie is right about Obama, let's not kid ourselves. But it's not Obama's fault for the most part. Paul Ryan having any power will be a disaster for poor people in this country. Thankfully Trump hates him and has called his budget terrible before so hopefully Trump goes to war with him.

I still feel like Hillary should have been president for the past 8 years. After Bush we needed someone who could get in there and get to work immediately to get things fixed. Then Obama could have ran this year on a populist/inspirational message.

Obama did great with what he was handed, but his lack of relationships in Congress and experience hurt him a lot.

Nah he was the right president at the time. The country was too broken after the recession and the war and it needed a hopeful voice to lift it up. There was so much joy around his election, it was incredible.

Warren just doesn't have it, shes unlikable....I really do not know what is it with her but she wont make it past the primaries.

Booker is TERRIBLE. Way too close to the banks and personally I don't find him to be that exciting tbh. I thought his speech at the convention was terrible imo.

Warren is one of the most popular senators in the country. The right hates her, but they'll hate anyone we put at the top of the ticket. She has the appeal to the white working class that Clinton lost this time around.

Warren and Kamala Harris (whose criminal justice reform message should have major appeal to African Americans) as her VP is the best choice for 2020. We need something fresh and exciting and I can't think of a more exciting ticket than that. Warren should try to build up some foreign policy experience over the next 4 years.

I'm not denying he had a great message and his election was an incredible moment, but in terms of being president, Clinton would have been able to get more done.

This whole election was character assassination on her part... I am so sad for her I cannot even put it to words. But one thing I know is that she is resilient and she will come back so much stronger to take on these dumwhits even wen she will be out of POLITICS.

She LOST the primaries. My God. I hate this should've would've could've ******** in regards to 2008. Obama was unstoppable and we didn't vote for her! She campaigned and lost. It's not like the DNC wasn't behind her in 2008 or "held" her for 2016 or something.

I disagree...the Rwpublicans were determined to obstruct! They would've had an easier time justifying their behavior with a Clinton presidency considering I'm sure there would have been a scandal or 2

In any case I can't get behind Booker at the top of a ticket. In all honesty the only names I'm liking so far are Harris and Hassan. Warren or Sanders could be cool but they're not new faces so I think they'll have a Hilary problem (albeit smaller scale). Biden is a bust.

Lets not forget that the DNC did to HRC what they did to BERNIE in 2008. They supported OBAMA in the background even when HRC was the stronger candidate who was winning by wide margins against Romney.

In an ideal world Hillary would have won in 2008 and Obama would be her successor this year but we got what we got. Im here for the messiness of the power struggle between Trump and Ryan. They hate each other. Unfortunately I think it's a battle that Trump would lose.
