Actually Mindtrappa said she was never really fan of those huge roll-out campaigns (Born This Way) that Troy and Interscope wanted.

Japan promo and elections kinda ruined the fun. Things are getting boring, good thing we still have AMAs and VS. I think I have to be patient. Or should I say the music itself is kinda boring, it's a great album no doubt, (I'm not complaining) but I just wish it had more bops.

It's not boring, it has some dancey (different than her previous material, tho), upbeat stuff, too, she's gonna have to find a right way to market it. Probably take notes from how Justin Timberlake marketed 'The 20/20 Experience'.

Good point. I just wish it had more John Waynes and Dancin in Circles coz I'm into bops. Hehe. But I'm not complaining at all, she delivered ROTY and I'm fine with that

MVs are irrelevant What are you talking about. MVs are not watched in this day and age for their visuals. They are literally irrelevant, people just put them on and switch the tab. Youtube is used as a streaming service first and foremost when it comes to music. If the song is big the video will be big too, if the song is weak video won't help it not one bit.

i agree mostly but video can help a song a lot if there is some viral factor in it, but yeah in most of cases that doesn't happen and video gives just tempoary push. Altho it does help in countries where TV channels with music are big cause they can start broadcasting them after video. altho many stations broadcast some mockup video until official one anyways

Ideally they should've gotten it on Today's Top Hits playlist after Carpool Karaoke and then send it to radio the week after. A-YO being the planned single (tragic in itself) messed everything up. That ****ing song

The radio update is not bad tho (just rolling effect), but if it's still not on Today's Top Hits after the AMAs
