 He said so but he says a lot of things so...
He was a national socialist when it came to the Aryan race. He fooled people to get into power but then ended serving the Aryan race alone. He wasn't in it for the money since day 1. Trump's history says otherwise. Not to mention he hated the big banks while Trump is already giving them a bigger advantage than even the Bush administration. Hitler wanted to serve the Aryan race (No unemployment, crime, poverty etc. in Nazi Germany). Trump wants to serve himself and his friends. 
But yeah the fascist mentality and lack of stability is worrying on Trump's side. Add to that the racially charged rhetoric which can easily be turned into action. If Trump goes the Hitler way and starts brutally attacking minorities, he wouldn't have served even the white working class that elected him. A failure altogether.
