That's such a simplistic way of looking at things. Yes, with the way things went (hardly any media coverage until after virtually tying Hillary in Iowa and smashing her in New Hampshire) he lost. The media and DNC were essentially acting as one, and they changed gears from not giving him any coverage at all (besides vague "socialist got a huge crowd of college kids, but it doesn't matter! back to what Donald Trump is eating for breakfast") to collectively piling on negative narratives attempting to undercut his strengths: "BernieBros" (a la ObamaBoys) to paint him as sexist, his "race problem" just because blacks didn't know him and weren't given ample time to, the constant comparisons to Trump, and mentioning him as a "socialist" every chance they got. And that's not even mentioning obvious collusion, like plotting against him and leaking debate questions to Hillary. This didn't happen after the election cycle, it was before and during, hence, it would have had an effect on the results
If you think the DNC rigging an election in favor of a HEAVILY risky candidate is just a "big deal!" you clearly learned nothing from this election cycle. Polls always showed he would have fared better against Donald Trump, and more importantly common sense does as well, but people like you insist on not learning from your mistakes, you truly deserve 8 years of Trump.
The moral of the story is NOT to do a 180 and choose Bernie as the nominee if he runs in 2020. He may not even be where the political wind is blowing in 4 years time, maybe after Trump's buffoonery we'll want a polished, telegenic establishment candidate. Just... Let the voters decide next time? No DNC plotting to elevate one candidate or the other, give them all fair (if perhaps not exactly equal) coverage, and let the voters take it from there. The DNC was all in for Hillary from day one, and we are all reaping the rewards now.
and inb4: now polls don't count! The reason Hillary underperformed in polls is because they don't take into account that she had an extremely unenthusiastic base who wouldn't bother showing up due to being uninspired/convinced by CNN that she won back in October 2015.
The capitalization and the period have me hollering for some reason, especially matched with her header.
