my Taylor Swift M&G story from when I met her back in 2008:
or my 15th birthday in 2008, I asked for tickets to see Taylor Swift in concert. She wasn’t headlining then, but she was my favorite singer. She was opening for Rascal Flatts this summer and I loved them too so it was perfect. My parents and two friends and I got to the venue early and entered a contest that a local radio station was doing. The prize was 2 meet and greet passes to meet Taylor. Somehow, our name was picked completely randomly out of a box. I started screaming and crying and jumping up and down. I was nervous, because they only had 2 passes and I had 2 friends with me, but a guy from Big Machine was there and gave us a 3rd pass, and let my mom come with us too! It is still to this day the best day of my life.
When I walked into the room and saw her, I was freaking out. I couldn’t believe it. Taylor was so sweet, she hugged each of us several times and told us we were beautiful and that she loved our shirts. I don’t even really remember what I said to her because I was in such shock. My mom was calm and told her how much we loved her. She signed all of our shirts and hugged us again before we had to go. I framed my shirt and hung it in my room
That night when she came out on stage, my friends and I started crying all over again because we were so excited that we had met her!!
