Make Me had me similar exposure during the album release and managed to double those numbers (80k sold that week) but we knew it wasn't gonna stick around

Yea, 40K ain't all that great, but Make Me was on the radio, given a music video, was performed at the VMAs (her first performance there in a decade) which meant it got a Sunday-Friday boost. Let's not.
The fact that MR was able to achieve #1 on iTunes was surprising at least for me even if it didn't last long and it wasn't up against any major competition
