I wonder why problems like this did not exist back in 2009/2010 or even if they did exist they went unnoticed, because whatever she had released, it used to become a hit.

Sis Gaga has always had the same managing problems with Interscope, it's just that she was so big 2009-2011 that it didn't matter (until Judas etc.)
They had always switched singles.
Always ended eras / single eras quickly (like TFM after Alejandro, when it could've easily had another huge hit with Monster/Speechless) and so on. And I am pretty sure they were lucky with a lot of the single choices.

Those barely cost anything. I mean I just looked at Today's Top Hits playlist, and nobodies can get their songs there.

to be fair I don't think spotify payola is that pricy. I mean Cool Girl was there since forever and thanks to that it will be certified eventually. And her label doesn't really spend much budget on promoting her considering all she did for the campaign was some late night show perfomance.
Lush Life peaked at 75 or sth in US and yet it managed to go platinum in US thanks to the playlists spamming which got it more than 100m US Spotify streams.

I have been contributing SO much to her MX Spotify numbers tbh. I listen to the album at least 2 times entirely everyday cause I spend a lot of time on my car & I always play the album.
Not surprised about the poor Angel Down (Work Tape) streams, I almost always skip it for the superior version, hihi.
