Experience matters when results are favorable not when a trail of unsatisfactory results follows you.

Even if for selfish reasons, the stars have aligned for Republicans Senate/Congress/Presidency...
They have the first 2 of 4 years to get things on the right track so that they can remain in power (senate and congress) and the last 2 years so that it won't be a one term presidency.
You know they want to be the ones to boast and gloat about turning things around and will do what it takes to achieve that...and it will benefit the country...
even if it's a childish na na na boo boo sticks tongue out to the Dems to say look what we did.
