Some of you sound so ignorant. The electoral college system, is not a friend of democracy. The people voted for Hillary, but the system voted for Trump. The ones condemning us for protesting and speaking out, you need to look back in American History. Had we not protested for women's rights, civil rights, gay rights, and such, we would still be slaves. We would still be women who are to be seen, not heard, much less allowed to vote. We would still be a country where the LGTBQ aren't accepted as a functioning member of society and in someways, that's still true today, and that is damn sad.
Activism is what makes America so great. It's the truest form of how we directly impact change. By doing this, it sends a message to Trump. His plans that are outlined in his first 100 days in office, they won't fly with the majority of Americans. Send direct messages of what we want. If he decides to ignore us, then he'll experience no peace in the next 4 years.

Some atrlers are so selfish, just because you're white or don't live in a country that will be directly affected by Trump (like USA, Mexico or China) doesn't mean you can tell everyone to just "get over it", you don't have the right

I'm sorry, they have the right to protest, but why didn't they channel this fear and energy to stop Trump and get HRC elected by volunteering, getting out the votes etc? Kinda pointless now.

Why are people saying that Americans should get over it? That is the worst attitude.
Think about it like this. If they peacefully protest and are effective in their activism, but they are unable to change the vote, then they can rest knowing they tried as best they could, and can now get ready for the next challenge.
If they never try, they will never know if they could have effected real change and not knowing is way worse.
