I'm pretty certain that the vote that took him to victory across the rust belt are not people who voted for Obama, but the white working class turnout that was overlooked in polling, who did not vote for Obama.

Hillary thought she was a shoe-in winner for females and even that backfired. There were hardly anything she could have done to save this.

They were. They could've easily given her Florida, Ohio and Michigan. And Hillary was never winning with white women so... if exit polls show them 60% Trump then that's not far off from the media polls. She won a bigger percentage of women than he did of men.

Hillary had options for these people.
