Gaga has actually sold out all 3 of her NY dates and it happened in minutes dear. She didnt lie about it. And you better discredit a number 1 worldwide due to the fact that its Gaga and not Rihanna. Last time I checked wasnt she number 1 not long ago on that chart?? I guess that isnt much of an accomplishment huh

First off, I have to say Celestial that that wikipedia link you posted made me CRACK UP!!!! That is truly incredible how all of the people in 2008 to have number one radio hits were black. Its not a bad thing...but that's incredible when you think about it!!!
The problem with GaGa is not a problem at all, actually. She DOES appeal primarily to the Pop radios. Therefore, she has tons of success there and not much anywhere else. But see the thing is is that GaGa's vocal styles and ability to make music simply does not work with those formats..having said that, she is REALLY good at what she does, and owns at that format.
It IS incredible difficult for crossovers to occur when you have a pure pop song of the caliber that GaGa makes. When you look at some of the greatest crossover successes (Shakira from latin, Beyonce from R&B, etc), you would rarely find those from pop origins.
That's just the way it works. You can't change it, and its sad that this thread has pretty much turned into a RiRi v. GaGa case, when they are both very talented.

You can still get tickets since they added more seats after the show sold OUT off presales.
There was originally 24,000 seats, but they expanded it to 27,000. Can you not understand that or are you just retarded?

How can it have been sold out if there were more tickets to be added?  Did they hold them back because they were afraid that she couldn't sell out the REAL capacity?

If Lady Gaga didnt wear weird clothes, and was able to not wear that much make-up like Rihanna, and didnt have to be so weird to get attention, she wouldnt sell ****, so THAT is kind of sad.

Well did you forget Rihanna also had a dance version of her album.
It may not have been repackaged for the original but it was def to promote the original
And an EP is different from a rerelease sir. Hence it charting in the US on its own. fact!
